Revlon ColorStay Bronzer

I bought this bronzer to use for a makeup shoot and oh how I fell in love! It’s so nice to apply and is the perfect colour. I generally find that most bronzers are either too orange or far too dark. This one has the right gorgeous bronze colour and is very buildable- meaning it will suit from the fairest skin tones to the darkest!

It’s rather shimmery so it works great at giving you a gorgeous sunkissed glow. I recommend using it as a bronzer but not as a contouring powder due to the shimmer.

It’s part of Revlon’s ColorStay range and the colour really does stay all day!

Maybelline Color Tattoo Review

Finally Maybelline Color Tattoos are in New Zealand! These gorgeous cream shadows have been stirring up a fuss overseas for a few months and now we get to try them too! I bought mine at the makeup sale I blogged about here just before they came out in NZ. They’re available now at pharmacies nationwide!

I bought mine in the colour Bad to the Bronze which is a shimmery, dark bronze. I’ve been wearing it on its own as a quick and easy eye look and sometimes as a base underneath my eyeshadow. You could use it in the eye makeup routine I blogged about here.

Maybelline Color Tattoo is a really creamy shadow that lasts all day and looks gorgeous! It’s never creased or moved a bit on me. If you’re looking for a great eyeshadow base or simply a cream shadow you can wear alone then I recommend you check the Color Tattoos out!

OPI Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It

Oh how I love nail polish! I’m a little addicted. Some may even call it obsessed. Ever since I can remember I have always loved nail polish. I have an overflowing rack of gorgeous colours but I always want more. Everyone’s got that one obsession right?! Something they just love to collect?! Mine is nail polish.

After uni last week I popped into Smith & Caughey’s which was having a sale, and I just so happened to have a little money on a giftcard- just enough to pick up an OPI polish on sale. And that’s how this Miss Piggy joined my collection. Isn’t it a gorgeous glitter red? I’m wearing another red polish underneath as OPI’s Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It isn’t very opaque. I love it anyway. I girl can never have enough glitter in her life.

I love the little things in life, like glittery nail polish that really dress my day in pixie dust.

Please excuse my terrible painting skills. Unfortunately those skills did not come with my obsession!

NZGIRL REVIEW: Maybelline Falsies Flared

I’m the type of girl who feels naked without mascara! No matter what, I always ensure my eyes are a little made up. Even if I don’t have time to do a full face of makeup I groom my brows and throw on a couple of coats of mascara. The way you ‘makeup’ your eyes can completely change your appearance. Full and flared lashes make you look perky and awake.

Maybelline Falsies Flared not only makes your eyes bright and open but it gives you the best lashes a girl could ever dream of! False lash wearers will be jealous of your full and flared beauties! This mascara lengthens, thickens and really gives your lashes a ‘flared’ look.

Simply coat your top lashes 2-3 times and you’re good to go! If you want to add a curl to your lashes then use an eyelash curler before you apply your mascara. For a more dramatic look coat your bottom lashes as well. If you’re unsure of whether to use mascara on your bottom lashes then just follow the rule ‘if you’re wearing liner/shadow on your bottom lash/waterline then use mascara there also’!

This mascara is without a doubt the best I have ever tried! I’ve always been a fan of Maybelline mascara and each one they bring out gets better and better!

Head to your local Farmers, pharmacy or supermarket now to pick up a tube of Maybelline Falsies Flared. After one use you’ll get what all the fuss is about!

I rate this mascara 5/5.
